It is sad this morning to hear about this investigation and that it has been so difficult for the public to hear about the findings of the report. We can only hope that the families of the people involved were provided with this report and answers to the questions they had in a more timely manner. So many of our clients decide to make a claim because they want answers to the issues they have about the care they or their loved ones received. Poor communication and a lack of openness leaves patients with little other option than to complain and then contact a lawyer. We can only hope that NHS Trusts moving forward will try to be more open about investigations of this nature.
