It is lovely to see student colleagues of Hannah Evans, working to raise funds for this great charity.
A year ago, Hannah died at age 16, after contracting meningitis. Her school friends wanted to mark the year anniversary of her death by supporting Meningitis Now, and did a dress down day at school.
Hannah had to be placed into an induced coma after her meningitis was diagnosed but sadly never regained consciousness.
This is a really poignant reminder of how meningitis can affect young adults, just as readily as adults and young babies. If you are unsure of the signs and symptoms of meningitis, go to the charity website, and take a look. It could save a life.
