There are a few sore fingers and scratched arms this morning after the first "Make your own Christmas Wreath" event held at Boyes Turner last night, to raise funds for Meningitis Now. The evening was a lot of fun and everyone found their creative side. There were plenty of baubles, holly, spruce, orange slices and cinnamon sticks in pride of place on the wreaths, alongside the white bow from the chairity, as part of their 2016 ribbon appeal. We are grateful to everyone who came and supported the event, who contributed to the evening's raffle, and we look forward to seeing pictures of the wreaths hanging on the front doors as we approach the festive season. Now for the second event next week.....
