Having a child can change your perspective. Having a disabled child, even more so.
Parents of a child with a significant disability often struggle under the strain of caring for a person who needs care 24/7, balancing medical and therapy appointments, and trying to obtain support with equipment, schooling and all of the other challenges that a normal family can face.
It's lovely to see that Dad Hardeep Rai has taken time to understand his son's condition, and having adjusted his view of the world, started working to provide funding to disabled entrepreneurs. He is as driven as the people he now helps, people who are striving to achieve amazing things, despite their own ongoing difficulties.
What a way to turn something tragic into something inspiring for the disabled community, and community as a whole.
If it weren’t for Eshan, I would have probably continued to chase my own financially driven goals and dreams. Yet, through his disability, Eshan opened up my eyes to other things that mattered. Through him, I have an appreciation for life that I didn’t before. His smile and laughter is my daily medicine and gives me a deep sense of peace and happiness. I’ve never enjoyed anything in my life as much as I enjoy what I do now, all because of, Eshan.
